Outstanding . . . ! !

I have a friend here in Copenhagen, he is a professional toolmaker, and he has worked on a couple of Navitimer cases for me in the past.

When I bought this watch it had been polished a lot, it was done in a bad way, and the lugs was more or less rounded, take a look at the work he has done, he have more or less brought it back to factory finish, and that is not easy at all with a Navitimer case, take my word for that.

Is that a brand new case that he machined Kurt, or he's done that from the original? Presumably he had to build up the case in places if it is the original?

Beautiful workmanship.

How did he get the edge on the corners? Do you have before picture?

BTW - do you have a publication date for your article in the BHJ? Can't wait to read it.

Yes it is indeed beautiful workmansip, I don'thave a before picture and I have no ide as to how he did it, maybe he will respond here, we must wait and see.

I wish I had a publication date, but I don't - I can tell you though that we are making progress, a couple of month from now is my best guess.

On top of that I have just bought an AOPA with a diallayout that I have never seen before, the first one in 10 years of collecting.

It will of course be pictured in the publication, and as soon as I have succeded in shooting a picture of it I will post it here.

Very nice work indeed! Would like to know his time into this and what it costs?

Craig,

I don't know how much time he have put into it, but I'm quite certaint that if he should get paid by the hour at normal salary it would cost a fortune.

Have you completed the article Kurt? Or are you still writing it?
