I was watching this auction for a while because I was curious about the ref 824 number on the watch. I'm fairly certain the 824 was a 24hr watch and later replaced the 810-24. 824 was indeed the replacement for the 810-24, a pretty uncommon piece. The dial looks to be genuine, so obviously got swapped at some point. It's a shame that it's not original, but then it would have gone for more if it had been the 24 hour dial. |
