Honestly IMO, I think financially you got a better trade with the 765... LUCKY YOU~!! they're both great watches, but on average the co-pilot will sell for a tad bit more than the C-Matic Navi's... Nice come up~! And trust me... I am quite taken with the co-pilot also...  just waiting for the right moment and the right piece... |

You just traded a $1500-$1800 Chrono-matic for a $3000-$4500 Co Pilot (I sold mine for $3500). Good swap!

Usually the dealer I traded with has crazy high prices on watches - the price on this was almost too good to be true. I don't think he knew exactly what he had. Lucky me! |

Technically it's a Copilot Yachting model and they're really tough to find. Come in a few different configurations. |

I guess a "tad bit more" is an understatement...  I would've assumed the Navi versions of the c-matic are a bit more than the regular c-matics though... surprising to hear Paul's price assessment... Oh joy it would be if I could pick up a Navi c-matic for in between 15 to 18 hundy... it seems everyone wants more for them...  Nevertheless to the OP, he came up big on that deal~! Perhaps his dealer's got another one to trade?

Actually the navi chronomatic was a watch I purchased about a hear and a half ago off of ebay. I paid $1450 for it. When I received it, I'd realized the hands were not right, and the bottom pusher was incorrect. Very good replacements, though. Talk about an impulse buy... The picture I posted of the c-matic was a pic I pulled off the net for comparison purposes. And no - I dont think he has another :

Aesthetically I like the one you originally had more, but then again I'm not into vintage watches. Financially it seems like you made a pretty good deal from what everyone is saying though. Good luck with it. |
