Hi all. This is my first time on the board and I learned that people are making fake vintage Breitlings. It's a fake, sorry. General rule of thumb, never, ever, ever, buy a vintage Breitling from South America. |

Look at the caseback, you can see that the Breitling stamp is unrefined, the same thing goes for the movement. There's also no model or reference numbers on the caseback. In contrast the dial looks brand new - because it is. Someone has stamped the dial when the watch was being assembled and decided that the would make this watch a Breitling. On another day they may have stamped another brand on it. |

Ive picked up all of my stuff from Ebay... just make sure as mentioned before to steer clear from watches coming from South America... that's like a rule etched in stone here in the vintage forum...  99% of the time they're all bad... Any doubt and you post it here... plenty of people (including myself) that will help you out... good luck and happy hunting~! |
