Please help! I am trying to buy my husband a vintage Breitling. I do not want to make a stupid mistake. Any advice you can give me on this watch? Is it real? What is it worth?

Looks like a nice example at a reasonable price. Love the age on the dial.

Is $1600 reasonable?

I think it's a fair price for a watch with no issues.

Agreed with Paul, dates to 1935, you can just about see the correct movement export code on hte balance cock, I don't see any problems with it at all.

I'd try to get a bit of a discount from that price - it looks like a dealer from your pictures so there should be some wiggle room, but it's a nice piece.
