Post subject:  Vintage confirmation -- Help

I'm interested in buying a vintage Breitling - nothing fancy. I've found 3 on Ebay and would appreciate some thoughts and confirmation on authenticity. Thanks in advance for your time and feedback.

Watch 1: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Breitling-A ... 3cad850ebc

Is it real?
Fair value?

Watch 2: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-swiss-made- ... 2c540c3ef6

Is it real?
Fair value?
Is it waterproof?

Watch 3:http://cgi.ebay.com/GENUINE-VINTAGE-BREITLING-17J-Wrist-WATCH-40S-/250603726356?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3a59256614

Is it real?
Fair value?
Is it waterproof?

Again many thanks and happy memorial day.

As a general rule you should assume that no vintage watches are waterproof.

In terms of these specific watches.....

First one is claiming to be a 1943ish 788. The dial layout is consistent with that, although I would expect to see Premier rathe than anti-choc (although I have seen anti-choc on dials before). The crown is incorrect, as are the hour and minute hands and I think that the dial is an older redial - it looks correct, so not a cheap and nasty one, but it doesn't look quite right. Numbers hsould also be lumed. I am suspicious of the bridge on the movement - this style is the most commonly faked and I would expect an unsigned bridge on a watch this early.

The second and third ones are from China, that alone would be enough to put me off.

However, the second one looks broadly correct with the exception of a very poor quality redial - you can see how rough the font looks - no sharp edges. Hands and crown are also replacements

Third one is also a 1956, and this is about the best of the bunch. This one looks original, although condition isn't great. These time only pieces aren't my specialty, but the price for that one seems OK, maybe a little high given condition.
