Post subject:  Flood of 1960s NOS out of Chicago?

Just got off the phone w/ my AD (who handles both Breitling and Omega), and heard some interesting news I thought I'd ask after here.

She said that a dealer in Chicago had recently (?) gone out of business and flooded the market w/ New Old Stock Breitlings, including pieces from the 1960s. Among other things, that this was driving prices down in the market.

Anyone else heard anything similar? Does this even sound right?

:?: :?: :?:

Not quite right.

The AD is talking about these folk - http://www.ewatchshow.com/browse/watch-nos/1

They are still very much in business and have been selling NOS Breitling's for several years. The story of how they came about their watches is here - http://www.ewatchshow.com/newest/watch/ ... story.html
