Hi,

I would like some help distinguishing exactly what model Breitling I own and how much it could be worth (US Dollars).
I recently received the watch back from Breitling after having it overhaulled. I have also just put a new leather band on it.

I believe it is an 1808 (1969).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Wow nice piece!~

these c-matics I would humbly say hold their value not too bad...

You've got one of the big dial ones and I haven't seen too many of this kind...

my low estimate 2k to 2.5.... could be more though... someone else could probably give you a better estimate~

and welcome to Breitlingsource~

Nice watch indeed. Would need a serial number to date to a specific year, but 1969 is certainly about right as Paul showed from the catalogue link.

We can safely assume that it's original if Breitling have serviced it (which national Breitling was it as BUSA don't directly service these anymore).

I think that jlee5050's estimate is about right in the current economy, may be worth more in a year or so if the market recovers.

Hi,

thanks for the advice so far!
I am not 100% sure which national Breitling it was... I am in Australia and I sent it off via a registered Breitling Jeweller. I know it was overseas for at least 12 months and the overhaul cost enough to be authentic! :)
Clearly i am new at this... but reading this website has inspired me to care a little more about the watch I own!

cheers!

It likely went back to Switzerland.
