I love the AOPA model. It carries so much additional history along with it being a navitimer.

And don`t polish the Case perhaps a little ......be careful!!!!

You see, this is why I'm not a vintage watch afficionado as I'd be insisting on a total refurb - movement, dial, hands, crystal, case, the works..... which would obviously remove the patina, etc completely!! I think I'd better steer clear of the vintage stuff! :)

don't worry it is undergoing a "sensitive" restoration not touching the dial or hands.

good luck with the restoration, hopefully it comes back just the way you want it. cant wait to see pics of the restored piece.
