Post subject:  Early Slide Rule Watches

This watch came across my ebay trawl. A contemporary of the original chronomat, it is another take on the slide rule watch from the Forties.

It's interesting to see the different approach to the case design compared to the Chronomat.

It also seems as if Breitling might have been pipped to the post by a company called Mimo-Loga, who are credited with a slide rule watch a year earlier than Breitling.

It looks as if the design goes back even further to a pocket watch slide rule.

Of all of these watches though, Breitling is the only one to add a chronograph into the mix.
