I don't recall too much information on them in the Benno Richter book, but will take another look. The one in the other thread was one of the early ones and they were produced until at least the mid 70s.
I'll take a look and see if I can find anyhting else out.
In terms of whether they all used the Venus 175, obviously the non chronograph's would use a different movement and it was fairly typical to use different base movements even in the same model at that time, so probably not.
The web may be a better source of information if you can find any reputable esamples - obviously life would be easier if you wanted info on an 806
