Hey guys-

Thinking about buying my first Breitling. I'm interested in 60s era watches having a connection with the space program. I've got a 63 Accutron Astronaut, a 65 Speedmaster and a later Rolex GMT (saving my pennies for a 1675). The last piece of the puzzle for me would be an early 60s Cosmonaute. Is there a "definitive" reference source for early Cosmonautes? I figure I need to do a little research before jumping in. . .

I see some familiar faces here, and look forward to joining in the fun. TIA for any help you can provide.

Jeff

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Alan Trott's article is probably the best 809 specific link - http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=4034

When you find a specific piece, throw some pics up and we'll give you some thoughts.

Perfect! Thanks for the link. Yes, I will certainly ask for the experts' opinions before buying anything.
