Post subject:  Its Mine at Last a 66 naivitimer Birthyear watch

Well last year I saw this watch and for a year I have wanted it, It was so close a number of times and now the deals done its mine and i am so happy yes I had to part with two watches to get it but tehy can be replaced easy this one cant.

really paul I had the exact opposite feeling I cant wait to get it onto a black deploymet I just picked up.

That all stainless look just looks so aviation related, sort of like a piece of the cockpit dash. Did you check the serial number?

That all stainless look just looks so aviation related, sort of like a piece of the cockpit dash. Did you check the serial number?


Breitling have no record of any serials before 1989 so there is nothing to check but its all gen and above board I know the two sellers who had it recently and the two before them its all above board, I will post pics of it when I have it here including movement pics.

I assumed that you had checked serials to know that it was a 66.

I actually found that a little surprising because 66 is early (though not unheard of) for the large subs. Definitely check it out.

I will mate it will be sent back to BUK soon for a full service and spa treatment. :lingsrock:

Does BUK still do these? Many distributors / national service centres have stopped directly supporting the vintage. The serial number should be readable anyway and then you can check the year.
