I was bidding on this for a while but someone else said they thought it was a fake so I let it go. Either way I'm pretty sure the paperwork didn't go with the box. Figured it might be for a gold watch or something less common. Anyone seen one of these before?

There was a box like this, but not sure if this one is real. Sharkmouth / bnewbie can probably answer.

The "Breitling" writing looks a bit odd... but if it is vintage, then could be a different story...

It's mid to late 80s if I remember correctly.

Inner box and hang tag are 100% fake, not sure about outer box.

Elaborate a little bit about what you see that makes them fakes. I know there are a couple of versions of that hang tag that are real but I don't think the paperwork or the hang tags would go with the box in any case.

Thanks.

Hang tag is bad fake. Inscriptions on the inner box don't look good to me, as well as whole package.
I'm far from vintage boxes, but just don't believe this one is right.
