Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this watch. Can this be a early Breitling?
Really grateful for any answers on this piece!

Why do you think, it can be a Breitling ? There is no evidence.

Hi,
I dont know anything about old watches and I have looked around on the internet
to try to find out what this watch is and for me as a totally beginner it looked a little bit
like a Breitling that I saw. It doesnt have makers mark on it.
I just wondered if anyone knew.
Beginners like me doesnt have a clue, but maybe one of you guys can see if it have some features of breitling or not.
Thanks in advance.

I can see why you might think that - it certainly appears to have a dial that has many similarities with 40s Breitlings.

This is just another generic watch though, it may well have been based on some of the chrographs of the era, but it isn't a Breitling.

Thanks for your fast reply! Oh well, the watch looked kind of nice anyway.
A little bit of Indiana Jones style :D
And maybe one day I have a real vintage Breitling of my own.
This was a great forum that I have discovered today!
Happy New year! BR Helena
