Post subject:  806 Navitimer Crystals
I just got in another 806 Navitimer from Europe for restoration and the owner had a specific request for a glass crystal replacement. I have a source for the correct plastic replacement but have never found a class replacement (I don't think the 806 ever had a class crystal when new but I don't know for sure). It's 38.5mm. If anyone knows of a source, please let me know. Thanks, Craig

Fairly certain that there was never an original glass crystal.

Can't remember the exact size (watch size I mean, it's obviously still 38.5mm) but a pocket watch crystal will fit if I remember correctly and those are readily available on eBay.

They will custom manufacture crystals if they don't have somehting in their inventory.

I don't know if they still do it, but at one time Jules Borel would custom cut and mount a crystal if you sent them the bezel.
