From the looks of it, everything looks okay... I would like a pic of the crown too. Can't comment on the date because I don't have a book. As far as the dial, I know that certain years have a certain "look" to them. These era Navi's are so confusing. ![]() |

Serial is 1970 which is correct for a large sub Navi. Hands look good, case looks fine. I would like a better shot of the movement so that the bridge engraving stands out better, and the condition doesn't look great. The only things that make me a little wary is that there are some characteristics of that 178 which look odd - the chopped off balance cock for example. I'm not as familiar with these later ones so it may be a design update, but there are a couple of differences between this and what I would consider a 'normal' 178. |
