A well known seller has sold yesterday this watch yesterday via eBay. I'm sure, you've seen it.

There was a bid of 5.700BP, then another bidder (private) goes up to 12.222BP. The winner has to pay now 12.322BP (nearly 15.000EUR or 20.500US$!).

Interesting ist this:
Zusammenfassung der letzten 30 Tage
Anzahl der Gebote: 85
Geboten auf unterschiedliche Artikel: 52 (bids on different items)
Gebotsaktivität (%) bei diesem Verkäufer: 41% (activity with this seller)
Gebotsrücknahmen: 0
Gebotsrücknahme (in den letzten 6 Monaten): 1

Conclusion: The next-to-last-bidder likes the auctions of this seller apperently very much

happens all the time with that seller, if that is the seller I have in mind
and even after pieces are 'sold' they magically return to him and are sold over and over again
He doesn't even bother taking new pics or pretend its a different watch, same auctions over and over again

all shill bidding, not worth watching; as Renè says, we have seen these pieces "sell" over and over again.
delusional, just like his latest asking prices; ignore.
hands on that "all original grail" V72 are totally wrong, btw.

here is the listing activity of the "private" bidder who bid the second highest, for those who do not speak German:

30-Day Summary
Total bids: 85
Items bid on: 52
Bid activity (%) with this seller: 41%

and ebay lets him proceed .....

Yes, I know this practice, espacially from this seller (and all the other nicknames). But I think, this time the watch was sold and the buyer has paid more than 6.000BP! too much...

report it to Ebay and say you suspect shill bidding by the seller and give ebay as much info as possible

know I said it isn't worth watching, but a strange, slightly morbid curiosity makes me notice that same watch "auctioned" again :wowzers
now at 15k; he just can't resist.

 if you're reading this (which I believe you do)

STOP BIDDING YOURSELF AND TAKE THE $15K

before someone notices that the hands are incorrect / repainted / from another watch

afraid he's the only bidder, René. 2 private accounts and one new guy. No sane person is bidding on his watches anymore - all collectors have known these watches for years, have seen them "sell" again and again, know that whenever they bid on a watch that's in a reasonable range he will outbid them in shill bidding. Sad, some of his pieces are actually decent.

happy new owner is a private one feedback account
