Hello all, What do we think of this? Never seen one before. 741 movement..that is the only number I can find..plastic case with an anodized metal base...any and all info most appreciated! ![]() Cheers, David |

These onboard pieces are not terribly well documented. There's a similar one in Richter listed at $300 - $350 in the latest edition - likely a little low. These are custom movements - larger obviously, but also a heck of a lot of shock resistance and longer power reserve. |

It looks like a timer that was used on airplane instrument panels. You could measure elapsed time from engine start to estimate fuel burn. You could also use it on a timed instrument approach. Anyway, it's an interesting piece of history. |
