I ordered a NOS Breitling chronograph and naively assumed that their NOS watches are fully serviced before sale, but no, not so, they are sold "as is"
Personally I think this is quite poor, something that's been sitting in a box for 40 years isn't going to function without a service clearly.
I basically complained to Tina the very helpful lady there on the phone and she agreed to have a complete service for $150! I just paid the bill via PP and it came to £98
That includes full gasket replacement & ultrasonic component clean, which would cost over £400 if breitling had done it!So overall I would say I've very pleased with their service but make sure you get it serviced first.
The actual watch ships today so I should have it by Monday, will post pics
