Here is a little bit of info on Landeron 50 movement used in Breitling. The first scan is from a 1952 Bestfit parts catalog. Note the calibre number 104, which is a Landeron 50 movement.

The second scan is from the parts list in the Breitling catalog 46. It shows the calibre 104 breakdown and also shows it is used in reference # 1375.

The last scan is also from catalog 46 showing the line of inexpensive chronographs. The bottom left is reference # 1375. Note that it clearly has square pushers instead of the usual rounded end used by Breitling.

I don't know if this information is common knowledge, but I found it very interesting.

I wish the direct Landeron reference was in the Breitling publication rather than a 3rd party parts supplier. Landeron movements have been showing up in vintage Breitlings for years and I have never seen even one that was real.

Some of the parts of the 104 do look very Landeron like - especially the plates, I'll need to take a closer look and Craig's insight will also be valuable.

In terms of the square pushers - less common for sure, but there are quite a few square pusher Breitlings.
