I have often stopped into the bulletin board when looking at watches and referencing fakes vs. authentic, but this is my FIRST post as a member instead of just lurking.

I bought, after studying it here, a NOS Breitling Super Ocean 2105 that was part of the auction allotment from the Breitling estate.

I am considering selling the watch and am going to be "that guy" and ask what its value might be. I will post pictures shortly.


I recently had it completely serviced with all seals replaced. The face and case are completely untouched as well as is the movement.

This is a tough watch to value. The SuperOceans have become more popular lately, and that has prompted people to try and sell NOS examples for ridiculous prices - I have seen them listed for $5,000.

I think that this is going to be a $2,000 watch in the current market, but you might be able to get more with patience. I would ensure that you provide movement and serial number photos when selling, it will impact the price.
