Hello
I did som reading here at the forum , but did not get any clearence if Ref 785 runs Venus 191 or not
I have the oppertunity to buy this watch and as i understand it runs venus 191.
Is this legit ?

Yes, it uses a cal 191. I suspect the one you have has a reprinted dial.

Ok , i have not bought the watch yet. And i did not see that the dial is repaiinted . How can you tell ?
The watch is from an old and sold watchmaker store

Because the tile is far too fresh for an 80-year-old watch. You could argue I guess that it’s a amazing survivor.

amazing survivor, see no indication of a re-print

subdial hands won't be an easy find, especially the running seconds

to clarify, ref. 785 started out w/ a Valjoux VZHC/72C in 2944, moved to Venus 191 in 1950
