Hi everyone,
The Unitime 1-260 with the world time dial and the map in the centre look really impressive! I was blown away by the sample pictures on the forums like http://i.imgur.com/j94e8GPh.jpg.

Being a Breitling noob, could I ask how much these are going for , for SS versions? I don't seem to see them come up for sale often, based on googling. Also, what are some of the pitfalls for this model - is servicing tricky? Parts availability? what about redials and frankens - are they particularly common or less frequently frankened?

Thanks in advance!

typical asking range would be between 4-6k €/$
frankens are no real issue here, but dial condition often isn't too stellar; some are offered w/ refinished dials as there is a company in Germany who manufacture those, but they are easy to spot - not bad, but far from perfect.

servicing is no problem - as always, you need a competent watchmaker.

and the old story: post it here for verification before you commit to buy.

Thanks Fred! Wow, they're pricier than I thought... was hoping you'd say EUR2-3k :) They are really pretty watches, lots of vintage charm. Time to save up then!

It's a beautiful piece, I would much prefer the original to re dialed.

I totally agree but the redial is a far cry from what it was. The redial is very very nice when not blown up 50x!

it is great work for a redial - and you truly had no choice, Rick.

Didn't mean to sound pretentious with my last post, my apologies. It's a beautiful piece either way!
