Hi Guys, could someone enlighten me on the different dial/hand/case variations on the 810? Were there 2 distinct versions? Dates?

Yes that 1969 catalog shows the second model as the "Long playing". So presumably the first model is early 60s?

LongPlaying is not a TopTime, but the model replacing it, uses a Valjoux 7736, not a. venus 810.

You should, René. both examples shown by the OP are very, very nice, btw.

Top Time 810 were launched in 1964, Gen1a cases appeared around 1966 together w/ the new dials, Gen2 cases w/ the massive lugs from 1967 onwards.

I meant with a venus 810 movement ;)

And youre correct , always on the look out for good ones at reasonable prices
