Saw an early Breilting on someones wrist the other day and I'm trying to find more about it. Google images brings up nothing close. I should have gotten a pic but...here goes from memory.
A smallish (stainless or plated?) 36-37mm case, no rotating bezel. Black dial with small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. I recall the only writing on the dial was the Breitling logo under the 12 oclock. The especially memorable detail was the hour hand which had an big open circle at the end of it. Can anyone help ID this by description alone? Story is that the current owner bought it from a woman who's father traded two packs of cigs to a prisoner of war for it in the 30's.

This center seconds version is currently for sale on ebay. They were done with the smaller seconds sub dial and with black dials.
