Guys - looking for some help here on a bracelet. I have this 814 with what I believe is the original bracelet. It is not marked but the style certainly matches those pictured in the catalogs of that time.



The previous owner at some point replaced the original clasp. i am trying to reinstate it with either the original, style or something close to the original style. So, a few questions (i) in your opinion, is the bracelet original to the watch? (ii) what was the original clasp stytle (iii) any ideas other than what I am showing below for replacement?

I believe somewhere in my travels I say that the original clasp looked in this style:



And I have found these from Cousins in the UK




Thoughts? Advice appreciated.

and also, if I do find a correct or close to correct clasp, I could then be in the position of needed an extra link or 2 for the bracelet. So, ideas or sources for that appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

that should help. bought from the original owner, watch on bracelet purchased in 1973.

Fred - I think it was you that posted this original catalogue image? The image you just posted is a 3 fold style, and the catalogue has this "ladder style".



I've been doing so much reading I can't remember why I think this but I thought that the older bracelet were bought in by breitling and not Breitling branded?

they were.

Still no luck in locating a clasp - I was able to find a link so hopefully the length is fine now. If anyone has a "Breitling Geneve" stamped clasp that they are willing to part with, please let me know.
