Hi, just wondering if vintage Breitlings ever had serials punched on the paperwork for example on a guarantee paper, etc. like some other brands of the time?

not that I am aware of
most 806/809/765 etc had the yellow warranty booklet with sometimes a printed ref number

Thanks guys. Wonder what they relied on to judge if was the same serialed watch come service time since they don't seem to mention the serials on the paperwork..

From memory, I'm fairly certain my 1975 booklet (for 815 Long Playing) is punched. I'll check later.
