I asked Mark about that one. He sold the watch after overhauling the movement in 2005, but it had a previously re-done dial....

I'm a little surprised he would have chosen to sell it that way. He's always been a little selective on what he'll work on. At least I'm comfortable that the watch for sale has good insides. :wink:

He said at that time the dial was no longer available, so they sold it with the understanding that the dial was not of their doing. Like you said, nice to know they had the pro take care of the insides.. and he did put the proper authentic leather band and buckle on it. Ron

I think that the seller could have been a little more open in his auction description, it doesn't point out that the dial is neither Heist, nor original.
