New to this forum. I have a vintage Breitling Premiere 777 case# 630042. I am sure it was made some time in the 40"s. I have no idea how to operate it or where to gt a manual that shows how. It is a 18k rose gold with a half gold band and leather on the other half. The crystal is scratched up, the watch keeps good time, the second and hour hand functions seem to work. I anyone can help me in finding some kind of users manual online that would be cool. Thank you

It dates to 1945.

No need for a manual, it's pretty simple.

The minute and hour hands are centrally mounted, the running seconds is at 9 o'clock. The centrally mounted seconds hand is for the chronograh (stop watch) as is the minute counter at 3 o'clock. The chronograph is started by pressing the pusher at 2 o'clock and stopped by pressing the same pusher again. It can be reset when stopped by pressing hte 4 o'clock pusher.

The crown has two positions - pulled out it will change the time (hour and minute hands only) when turned, and pushed in it will wind the watch when rotated clockwise. Be careful when winding it, when you feel a lot of additional resistance stop winding to avoid damage.

Assume that the watch has no water resistance so avoid getting it wet.

If it hasn't been serviced in a while (5 years or so) then it will need one. PM a member here - chronodeco and he will sort you out, and he can also fix you up with a new crystal.

Sorry if some of that was too basic, but not sure what level of knowledge you had :lingsrock:
