I have the greatest respect for your knowledge Kurt, so I hope we are having a discussion about this.

I have to agree with Paul though, and I'll admit to being biased as I own one myself.

This curved end bracelet is clearly catalogued and I would have to believe, as they did with other bracelets,
that Breitling produced them with their insignia on the clasp. They often had third parties producing their bracelets, like NSA,
as did Heuer, JLC and many, many other companies of that period, but all were made with the relevant companies trademark.

Here the curved end bracelet is show on the 1958/60 SuperOcean, which from memory is 20mm.

Here it is in the 1969 catalogue on a 22mm Co-Pilot.

For some reason non-integral Bracelets for all makes of watches from the 50/60's are rare (except perhaps Rolex) and they often turn up in NOS condition.

Here is a very rare NSA made bracelet with Breitling's insignia.

Sure we are having a discussion Yaffle, that’s why we meet here, and I have a lot of respect for you as well.

In my first years of collecting Vintage Navitimers I never saw even one of the bracelets in mention, then they suddenly pop up and after a few years they are allover, today they are not rare at all, actually they are for sale all over the internet, doesn’t that ring an alarm bell for you ?

Show me a few that show 30 – 40 years of patina and I’ll reconsider.

I am 100 % acting on common sense it this matter.

Rene,

I don’t have time to play your silly games, if you address me then please be serious about it.

If you really are serious about wanting to buy some then you have been long enough in the game, and are at least as good in finding them as I am.

As mentioned they are IMO fakes, and I would never even think of promoting them by finding them for you, as I believe that you would sell them as originals.

Gentlemen, there is no need for unsubstantiated accusations, I thought that we were done with that after a certain member's departure.

Kurt,

I am sorry you took my remark that way , I am genuinely interested in finding a few more bracelets and have only seen 2 or 3 ever offered on Ebay , with the last one selling for 1000 EUR/$/GBP (cant remember currency) but I wouldnt mind fitting some of my pieces with the bracelet.
So again, if you know where I can find them please share the info (or not) but please dont assume I play any games , because I dont.

Rgds

Hi All,

As a Noob I thought it best to stay out of the heated debate for a while but thought it only fair to say a final thanks for all your help.

I'm also pleased to say that my cosmanaute now has an OEM black leather strap with brushed deployment clasp on it. I know it's not original but much prefer the look over a metal bracelet & at £170.00 it hasn't dented my watch funds too much.

Thanks.

Wads.
