Rolled gold is a possibility for these, but I don't know for sure that any were produced. In terms of the unsigned movement - anyone truly believe that all watches produced in 1949 had movements produced in 1949?

Rhetorical question of course, the movement could have been on the shelves for a while - I've seen too many unisigned problem free late 40s watches to worry about an otherwise correct movement. Let's also remember that the likelihood of a frankenwatch with an usigned bridge is pretty remote.

Thaks and thanks again for all information!!!
However the watch is gold plated!
I'm now thinking that this can be a transitional model between a late 801 in stainless steel and a young 18kt gold model similar to a 806!!!

However i'm so glad to have found it!!!!! :D :D :D

Gratulation, however its a rare watch. The case size of the 801 is same as the 769, the size of the 806 is bigger.
