Well, I think that the case is likely original, although someone has added the Breitling script after the fact - a common attempt to try and add value to the watch. It doesn't work and an unsigned caseback is better.
However, the caseback shows a 1946 178 which is a round case, square pusher watch, but it's Venus 170 powered which is a 12 and 6 chronograph.
The movement in this is likely not a Breitling, certainly the Bridge has been stamped incorrectly to try and turn it into a Breitling and the dial is a redial. Both the movement and dial are incorrect for this model. Pushers and crown are also incorrect, but that's the least of this one's problems.
