Hello,
I'm new here and I just bought my very first Breitling yesterday (although beeing a watchnut have many other watches).
Actually I need advice.
I bought the watch by seeing only a frontal view, but I have the chance to check the watch at local pick up.
The two pictures are promising IMHO. Maybe I found a nice example of a Breitling Premier from the 40's. (seller says 1945)
Due to the research I made on the net, the dial and hands look correct for me.
But I know nothing about vintage Breitlings.
I would be very thankful for any advice, what I have to check to be sure this is an original item, not franken or whatever.
I appreciate any help!
Many thanks!

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Not sure that I agree that the hands are original, I believe that they should be non lumed and thinner. I think that the chrono hands are original, or at least original style (although I have a sneaking suspicion that the hour and minute may be back to front) and I'm not sure about the running seconds.

Can't confirm the date without a serial number and if you can get inside and outside caseback shots and a movement shot then we can better advise. Movement should be a Venus 152.

You may want to check the functions. It appears that the hr register did not reset properly.
