My farther-in-law and myself over the past 2 weeks made a TV lift system for his bed. No special skills or tools were needed, just took our time. Anyhows what do you guys think??? Here is the youtube link. Just out of intrest how much would be a reasonable price if i decided to make and sell them???

That is a pretty cool set-up. Doesn't encourage leaving the bed though...ever :shock:

What did it cost to make it? Material I am referring too. Time is an obvious variable, especially on the concept model.

It took 14 days to make. 3-4 hours an evening. I think it would take 3-4 solid days of work to make this. Overall cost including the Sony bravia 32" HD tv, Lift system, MDF, material is £800 (TV was £400) Is was not hard to make just a few head scratching moments. :?
