I decided not to wear a watch this afternoon as it's 83 degrees out and I have a pool in the backyard  I love the sun and the warm weather... but I do miss the snow. Someone send me some!

:P

Similar temps here. I think I may even need to extend the bracelet by 1 micro hole til it cools down. I just feel weird if I dont have a watch on. Plus, I wear it in the pool anyway. Its more comfortable with it off, but I feel so much cooler with it on 8)

It is 7 degrees f right now, wind chill of -5 degrees f in lovely Kansas City, Missouri.

To chear me up, my dad was able to call from Pebble Beach letting me know that the high was 73 today and the locals were complaining. Damn you cruel world!!!

New watch (that I still need to post pics of) makes life seem better.

Yep, midwest weather is pretty crappy right now... We got almost 7 inches of snow last night on top of 3 inches the night before. The actual temp right now is -11 degrees (with wind chill it is -33). And the high tomorrow... -3!

8)

29 degrees C here at the bottom tip of Africa. Blue skies with a good chance of a typical highveld thunderstorm later.

Typing this wearing only my swimming trunks - and my Breitling of course :D

It's just crept back above freezing over the last few days here in the UK. It probably about 6 degrees C now.

BTW Mario, 83 is about 28 in Centigrade isn't it? I can only visualise temperature as Centigrade!

(It's weird but I'm a complete mix of metric and imperial when it comes to measurements! Temperature has got to be centigrade for me, but weight always has to be stones and pounds - I can't visualise kilos at all. Whereas measuring length I'm fine with both metric and imperial. I guess I'm odd!)

It's the middle of summer here, which is also the rainy season up here in Johannesburg. Lots of warm moist air around that's moved down from the tropics. All you need is a few hours of baking sunshine to get the air nice and unstable and voila - a thunderstorm around 16h00 local time. You can almost set your watch by it :)

It's only snowed twice in Johannesburg in my lifetime, in 1981 (was very young then) and 2007. I don't know if I could live in a cold climate. A cold winter's morning for me is -1 C!
