See what I have to deal with? That's my backyard, and I live in a place where we're used to like 2 inches a year.. so when this happens the city doesn't function properly.

Hey Admin, I live in a place where if the rain is too damp, or if the wind is too windy, or if the sun shines too brightly (V. RARE!), or if there's a "Y" in the day, the entire country grinds to a halt. It's called............. "The UK".

(Your back yard looks very picturesque BTW!)

This is a picture of heaven to a avid snowboarder. Do you ski or snowboard Admin? I am looking forward to making a couple trips to some local mountain resorts this winter to get some snowboarding in. Take care.

Does anyone else snowboard who is reading this thread?

I totally agree. We are not setup for this much snow. I seem to be shoveling nonstop for the past 2 weeks.

I hope this rain clears off some snow. Wish me luck as I have to drive out tonight.

Yeah you guys have really been hit this year.

Here in Ontario ski country we've had the best December in years for skiing, but in the last 24 hours it's been double digit positive temperatures and abut 50mm of rain - I now just have mud and water over most of my yard and now the wind's up as a flash freeze moves in - terrific!

Thats HORROR! Chicago has been pounded this years as well but we just received 2 inches of rain this weekend and melted it all....thank god. My wife and I are on the hunt to move to Florida within the next 2 years....we hate it here. You guys that live where its warm are a lucky bunch.
