Hi

Have been thinking about what I'd like for Christmas and with my penchant for shiney mobile gadgets I started thinking about the Sony Reader eBook.

Anyone out there have any thoughts about them? Anyone got one? Good, bad or ugly?

I like reading and with my travelling it would seem a logical addition to the collection:

iPod Touch, Sub Notebook, Sony PSP, mini hard drive etc.

Or - can any one suggest a suitable present for me (apart from the obvious addition to the collection) - something shiney & nice mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..............dribble! :D

I've heard the reason these haven't really taken off (as they have been around for a couple years now) is that they are cost prohibitive for many, and a lot of people don't like reading books off a screen, be it computer or the ebook thing. If those aren't issues to you I say go for it! It's a great idea, it's just a shame they haven't really come down on the price at all.
