Post subject:  New Hobby!
Hey guys,

Hope everyone is well.

Since my "Retirement." My wife decided I needed a new hobby, and she bought me some paint and brushes. I've never tried art before so thought, hey ho, might as well give it a go.

I used to love watching Bob Ross on the TV years ago and always looked in wonder at what he could do in 1/2 an hour.

I've found it surprisingly good fun! Even taken a beginners class in drawing.

It's very relaxing, quite a cheap hobby to have as well.

You haven't seen the ones I threw in the trash....

But, it's just a piece of paper and some paint. I learn something every time I fail doing a picture.

Plus, when my wife is watching golf on the telly, I can look at YouTube tutorial's... We lead a life right on the edge, she and I.

It's only a small painting onto a framed canvas. 16" x 6"

Nice going Dave! I actually paint and draw a bit myself....but work means I rarely get to do much. If and when I get to retire I'd love to get back into in properly.

I hope you stick with it, man - if those are your first efforts, then you've definitely got ability!

Thank you! I am really enjoying it. The classes were fun as you get 10 different drawings representing what people are seeing in front of them.

I will be sticking by it for sure, it's become quite addictive!
