Hey everyone

Hope you all had a great summer? As I said in my previous post I had a summer holiday so I thought this post would be better in off topic discussion because it watch related but also some pictures of my visit to London so If its in the wrong place I apologise in advance. I got invited back down to the Breitling Uk service centre again to have a look at their new rooms and learn more about their new Emergency where I had a meeting with the Manager and director it was strange because I last visited when I first started watchmaking at 16 since then I kept in touch with them and they have been a great support for me. Whilst down I went to London to look in some of the watch shops and other shops that Iv always wanted to visit I got to try and have a look at the Greubel Forsey watch all £700,000 of it. Also on the holiday I had the opportunity to buy 12 Rolex glass panels they use in the shops so I decided to buy them It took a long slow drive to collect them and bring them back as they are huge and glass but well worth it to add to my collection.

And then I had a meeting in Switzerland with the COO and a talk with the CEO of HYT watches to explore some ideas for the future and learn more about the brand and soon to visit the manufacturing side. Very interesting company with a awesome timepiece something that I love and the use of liquid in a watch is just amazing. I am very passionate about this brand because I believe this is something that will get younger people interested in watches and I personally believe it pushing watchmaking to the next level.

And last but not least I have just started back and we are starting the vibrating/counting for the balance and this is something that very interesting using this tool more on this soon and maybe I have something ells soon but before I post I need to talk with the company but for me Its something thats just an incredible opportunity.

As always thank you for taking the time to read my post hope you like them and their not getting boring. And a question is their any watches brands that you think are pushing the boundaries of watchmaking ether by the way they tell the time or the materials they use in them?

And also a big thank you to all the watch brands.
Joe :)

Great update Joe. Very envious of the HYT opportunity, they are doing some great things.

Always a treat to hear from you, even if most of the technical discussion is way over my head
