It never died. Just in hiberation for now. I'm still down for the get together and the Pilot Tavern is one nice joint. Lunchtime might work for me if we can arrange a pre-determined time allowing me to take some time off work.

Sounds good to me. When in march?so I know to book it off.

Will be around March 14, 15, 16. The 15 and 16 are on the weekend, when the Knife Show will be. I'm not sure where i'll be on which days, but I know I will be spending most of the 15th at the Knife show in Mississauga. I'm not sure where i'll be staying, but likely will be meeting up with friends and staying there. I might do a red-eye flight in on thursday night and arrive around 9am on friday.. possibly meet downtown on friday?

Anyway, we can work it out

Alright guys I'm gonna CPR this thread back to life and see if we can get something going here. Its summer again in Canada and its been warm consistently for more than 3 days so I'm quite content.

Roff - The pilot I've always wanted to check out. I went once but left cause it was so packed. It was in the evening though.

Roof top patio at the Pilot will likely be open by the weekend if it isn't already - certainly by the long weekend. It's always packed but obviously some days are better than others.

I wouldn't use the La Swiss on Bloor for any deals anymore though - although convenient for eye candy. If there are deals to be done then we'll need to take a little subway trip as well, but I can set some things up if people have cash to burn.

I just burnt my last bit of cash so I won't be buying, just looking unfortunately. So Roff lets do this. Can you come up on wkends now or still lunch for you?

Weekends don't work - it's a 2 hour plus drive each way and that's the only time I really have at home.

alright so lets do a wkday then. Just set a date and we'll get something committed at least. That will let me schedule work around it. My weekdays are free for awhile now so you decide. Or maybe wait to hear from other people?

Let's see what other Torontonians / Ontarians want to be part and try and find something that works for all. If there are some buyers I can work something out as well if I get an idea of models and some lead time.

I'm in the GTA and if the date(s) are right would love to attend.
