I awoke this morning to sad news, that the BBC were reporting of the passing of Scott Carpenter (88) Astronaut, and member of the Mercury Space Program. I needn't remind members of his association with Breitling as thats well known, and I will leave others to pen words on his influence of space and time. Although I did not know him personally, I think he was a fine man. A sad day. |
