The loss of 19 firefighters was heart-breaking. Sorry to hear of that and for their families loss.

It was an entire division, one-third of the fire department of one of the larger cities in Arizona outside of the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas. Devastating and terribly sad. Average age about 27, as young as 19.

A tragic loss of life of those heroes whose daily actions protect and save us. Sadly, this is often unacknowledged until a tragedy like this occurs. My thoughts are with them and their family.
