I let my stepdad borrow my 458 to take my mom out for their 2nd anniversary. I've got his Roush stage 3 that's puts out 540 stock. For $800 you can buy a upgrade from Roush that takes it to 620. Think you can pick one up for around 50k. I'm am pretty impressed with the power this thing has, if you take off the traction control you'll you can smoke em through 4th no problem. Turn it back on and it hooks up great, bottom end torque for days!!! Besides the door panels and dashboard looking like they were made out of recycled soda bottles the interior was pretty nice too. A V12 great, but nothing puts a smile on your face like the sound of a American V8!!!!

Absolutely, I was in no way comparing the two. Just really surprised at the power for the money.

458 is not my daily driver, just a toy. It makes me appreciate it that much more when I do taker her out to play.

Awesome car but I would opt for the new Shelby before any of the roush models...

With mild tuning, exhaust etc etc they are pushing close to 1k hp

Check out evo performance in PA.

I think I saw that car on top gear. What's the price range on those?

$60k for stock one. 650hp but most are putting dyno numbers down to indicate closer to 700hp at the crank.

The Mustang on Top Gear was a 2013 Shelby GT500, Jeremy was racing against James and Richard on the bullet train.

That's the one. Love Jeremy's sense of humor.

That blue stang is insane over 1k HP and 1k torque.
