In my introduction, I mentioned that I collect books (LE's and antiques), as well as enjoying collecting wine. I love some of the new Italians (the Super Tuscans are amazing!), as well as French and American vints. My question, if anyone is interested, is what else do you collect OR have a passion for besides fine time pieces? Thanks! -jbbb |

Thanks! -jbbb I have a fairly extensive collection of books - fiction and non fiction centred around the arctic - connected to my hobby of racing sled dogs. In terms of passions - I'm a relatively well known in the field of Project Management and am big on skills development for people in the profession and also for economies of rural areas - I live and run my business in a tiny rural community (ironically called Tiny Township). |

I can't really claim to collect anything other than watches (and OBVIOUSLY, specifically Breitlings!). However, I'm also a bit of a movie fanatic and as a result I've ended up with close on 2000 DVD's.... but I kind of see the disks themselves just as a side-effect of enjoying films! It's NOT a collection! ![]() I also have big passion for Motorsport - anything from Formula 1 to Rallying - and I have a bit of a thing for BMW's. I'd love to have a "collection" of those too, but the initial cost and depreciation is even worse than on the watches! ![]() |

Well I'm married, and everything that is hers is also mine. So I have thousands invested in overpriced shoes, handbags, and plastic sunglasses. Not really 'my' collection, but I've got a pretty big stake in it. |

Lots of nice firearms, we should start a new thread on this. Minus the stupid joke I made above I also collect guns. I also spent a couple of years toting an MP5....some of us may have more common ground than I thought. |

MP5 is candy but here civilians aren't allowed to have automatics. Semi auto MP5 is like Mark VI on a DiverPro. ![]() |

Funny how we do have so much in common. I wonder how many BUDS graduates are on here.... In any event, I'd love to have a seperate thread, as long as it doesn't bug folks or it isn't against the rules here. Firearms have a tendency to freak some folks out... -jbbb |

Yes, it's forbidden to discus or post pics of firearms on WUS. |
