Well guys, my 10,000th post on this fine forum! :thumbsup:

If my meagre post count hadn't been so totally and utterly eclipsed by Mr Roff (despite me having been a member a day or so longer that him!), I might've made a bigger deal about reaching this particular milestone. As it is, Roff has 2.5 times that number, so for me to make a big, self-indulgent deal out of hitting the 10k mark would seem a little trite! :lol:

So I'll simply say that it's been, and continues to be, a real honour to be part of this superb forum, and hopefully somewhere along the way I've managed to add at least a little value here and there both in terms of info/knowledge and moderation duties. As they say, it's the people who make a place, and (the few occasional and thankfully transient weirdos aside! :wink: ), the people we have here have always been an excellent bunch of folks.

Congratulations Driver, you have demonstrated a talent for being concise that I cannot dream of ever attaining. It's been a fun 5 years (mostly) :lol: and I feel priveleged to be your partner in crime. You're a great moderator and a great guy.

Statistically that's around 2000 posts a year.
For me than it was around 1000 posts worth of words of wisdom given that I have stumbled across this time killer forum around six months ago.
Thank you! It has been both entertaining and educational reading your comments.
Looking forward to lots more and hope to be around to see the 20,000 milestone.

Congratulations Driver - your (generally) positive attitude and unique point of view always has me looking forward to reading your responses to a given topic.
