Picked up the new 3G today

Nice, I nearly went for one a few months ago but opted for the HTC Touch Cruise due to the lack of gps and 3g. Soooo tempted to change again

I had to wait in line for 5 1/2 hours to get the phone when it came out on the 11th. I would have never waited that long but they said it would only take a maximum of two hours. Their servers kept crashing so... oh well!!! At least it was worth the wait, the new phone is MUCH better than my old one.

I went in to an AT & T store last Friday and they were sold out...the only had 40 to begin with. They said it would be faster to just order one, so I ordered a the 16GB model. Should be here in a week. I did get a chance to download the new 2.0 software onto my old iPhone after Apple's servers came back online. But for a few hours last week all I had was an iBrick. All is well now! |

Well, you're going to love the new one, the speed makes it much more enjoyable to have it out. In fact I've been posting here a lot from the phone lately

Haven't upgraded my 1st gen one yet. Given the alledged problems they've had activating thought I'd wait a week or so. So hopefully this weekend if they've got stock. |

Opening day there were activating issues that were periodic. The problem was apples iTunes servers which were crashing. No doubt this was due to the sheer volume of people logging on simultaneously. Enjoy your purchase, you're going to love it.
