Gentlemen!

First off, I apologize for not participating in the forum these past couple of months after the move from Calgary to Toronto. I am sure I missed a lot and I am looking forward to catching up on all the new developments.

Right now I want to share with you guys a dream come true for me. I recently turned 30 and I saved some money for a watch to underline the occasion. I was either going to get the discontinued Breitling Montbrillant (white on bracelet)...I would like to thank WatchFred for all the help he's provided in helping me find the perfect one or I was going to get the Rolex Sea-Dweller (discontinued model) I know there were a few great ones on sales here.

I am not sure how it happened but I ended up getting the car I've been lusting after for the past 10 years! Here are some pics of my baby just arrived in Canada from Germany. I got the call today from my dealership that it was here, so I had to go scope it out and take a few crappy pics with my bb. Its a 2012 Audi S4

I'll take some better pics on delivery this Saturday when she's nice and clean. Don't worry, I still intend to contribute to my watch collection...this car was something I've lusted after for the last decade if you can believe it or not...so this is a dream come true for me. After my test test drive, I couldn't stop grinning...so I had to make it happen!

Great choice. Just sporty enough without being flashy, and more than enough get up and go.

Glad to have you back Sasho...I hope the move went well and you have gotten settled in. I recently moved as well (Austin) and it is a grade a pain in the ass, but once settled a new town has all sorts of new stuff to explore.

Well done! You can both both watches now and still say...

"But they were much less than the car!"

Welcome back to the forum, Alex ! Hope all has gone well with your new job and the move,
although you sound as if all was developing quite nicely

This car is a great choice, though you´ll probably put aside some funds for speeding tickets,
it will be very hard to resist testing the capabilities a little.

Let me know when you are back in the market for that elusive Monty, maybe one will pop up.

best, Fred

So....You stated that you have wanted this car for ten years.... :?
So....It's a 2002 car you've wanted for ten years...Not a 2012 :?
Really nice car.....Too bad you couldn't get the car you really wanted all these years.

Welcome back and happy birthday! That's one of the (few) joys of getting older - you can buy yourself better presents than anyone else will!

Thanks guys! Great to be back.

@thomasenlow1 - yup, moving is not the best but you're right, once complete the change in scenery is pretty refreshing. I remember you were looking for a new car, did you get something?

@WatchFred - Fred, you Sir are right, I got used to driving a truck so I really have watch out now for cops and speeding. Plus I would like to spend any additional funds on the "elusive" Monty ;)

@JustinFournier - The 135i is sweet indeed and very powerful. You can spin cookies to your heart's content! You still looking for the BB?

@Driver8 - Thanks Driver8. Somebody wrote on my bday card that turning 30 is like turning 20 but with more money lol makes you feel better.

More pics to come soon with some Breitling content...this is a Breitling Forum after all ;)

When I moved I decided it was time to buy vs rent so the car purchase took a back seat now that I have a negative net worth. Everyone said it was the financial sound thing to do, but in all honesty I would rather have got the 335D and a new watch and lived under a bridge. Guess I am a sucker for shiny non-essential things.

I went in to look at the BB BS and the BB Red Strike, and walked out with a Chronomat 01 LE!

I still hanker for the BSBB, but after enjoying the new bezel, the oh so sweet inter-rider bezel tabs, the display back with the 01 movement, man, it's only newer from here on out. Will be selling the Colt Auto II once I figure out what to replace it with.

I'm in love with the new bezel!

Congrats on your 30th Alex. Good to know everything is going smoothly for you.

Enjoy your new horse which you wanted badly for some time now. I am sorry to see you've changed stables though.

See you soon on the forum.
