Probably old news, but have any of you guys started using the Chrono24 app?

Only just discovered it today, but it works really well. Very easy search and filter functionality. It's good.

Been using it for a few weeks. It is a very cool app. I like the saved searches function under favorites.

Here's an iTunes link to the app - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/chrono24 ... 12032?mt=8

Just downloaded it... but is it just me or prices tend to be a bit higher on average for the pieces listed on chrono24?

Most chrono24 pieces are dealer asking prices. Plus of course mental Michael inflates the average

Without wanting to start an iPhone vs Android debate, I always wonder why companies have an iPhone app which has about a third of the smartphone market but don't have an Android app which has nearly 60%.

As an Android user, I get frustrated I can't get these iPhone only apps. I guess it's easier to write iPhone apps than Android.

And no matter how good RiM, Symbian or WinMo might be, if the apps aren't there, they're going to struggle.

Totally agree with you Sharkie. If iPhone apps ain't easier to write, as you say, then the reason is publicity IMHO. Apple has done a tremendous job on that and even though customers are usually disappointed with the end result when a new iphone is presented as they always expect more, a new iphone launch is big news compared to a new Android or Symbian equipped device. I guess it's more "in" for a company to put "Available at the App store" on its add than Available at Android market.
