Can't wait. They're also announcing a new model based on the Civic platform that is expected to get 44mpg. I've been looking for a commuter car. If they don't mess up the design, this may what I've been searching for .

Damn that looks crazy. If they can keep the price under 100k it should be a hit. It better perform though since now its got the GT-R to match up against.

I'm gonna say it will be 125 to 140, The prev gen was about 80 to 85k.. The car looks amazing!!!

But back then it's competition was Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini. Now it's going to be going up against the GTR and the Audi R8, which it looks quite a bit like in my opinion. Still a badass looking car.

It may be OK if the real version makes it to the road looking like the concept, but somehow Builders have a habit of rationalising things before production begins.................. Still IMO, I have to say there are some visual lines in this one that don't sit comfortably with me. Might look better in the flesh though.

Visually, it's competition may be a Lambo, Ferrrari, R8, or even a GT-R, but from a performance standpoint, this thing will be lucky to outrun a 370Z. Honda says it will have a direct-injected 3.5L V6, which Car and Driver says will put its horsepower around 300.

This is essentially a reincarnation of the old NSX- overpriced and underpowered. Why would I pay $100k+ for this thing when I can get many cars for less than half the price that exceed the NSX's performance? Other than the visual appeal, I don't see the potential of this car.

As my Rolls dealer told me once.."It's not about getting from point A to point B. It's all about the arrival."

That's the thing with Hondas... they were always at the top of their game with their naturally aspirated engines... don't know why they don't embrace forced induction into their motors... anyone can do v6-300hp these days... and I was going to make a comment about the design as P51 mentioned... this doesn't look like actual production... it looks too conceptual...

I also really hope they'll start beefing up their transmissions... Hondas are notorious for having weak trannys...
